Heavy Duty Truck and Coach Mechanic
Some Roles and Responsibilities
- Truck and coach service license (310T)
- Own tools
- Own transportation, driver's license
- Experience repairing heavy equipment an asset
- Physically able to perform all that is required to complete tasks and repairs

Some Roles and Responsibilities
- Setup and operate total station for layout of road, pipes, and excavation
- Utilize Microstation and InRoads (line work, importing points, and data)
- Organize records, measurements, and other survey information
- Competently calculate layout from digital design files
- Perform construction lay out as required
- Perform quantity survey as required
- Maintain and create site benchmarks as required
- The ability to interpret MTO Contract Documents
- Experience on MTO projects is an asset
- Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of dependability.
- Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, levels etc.
- Computer skills and the ability to use AutoCAD, MicroStation, MS Office suite etc.

Superintendent
Some Roles and Responsibilities
- Daily supervision and coordination of all construction activities, ensuring work is being completed in accordance with the project schedule and specifications
- Effectively manage field employees by providing guidance and leadership
- Participate in site meetings as needed
- Advise senior management of potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts
- Complete daily reports as required
- Attend lead project meetings with internal/external parties to monitor and support projects
- Various other coordination, scheduling and management responsibilities as required
- In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of heavy civil construction operations an asset
